Theo báo cáo của UBND tỉnh Bình Dương, trong 9 tháng năm 2022, tình hình kinh tế, xã hội của tỉnh tiếp tục khởi sắc và đạt nhiều kết quả tích cực trên nhiều lĩnh vực. Trong đó, tổng sản phẩm trên địa bàn (GRDP) tăng 7,36% so với cùng kỳ năm 2021 (cùng kỳ tăng 1,48%).

Sau đại dịch Covid-19, kinh tế Bình Dương khởi sắc trở lại thông qua số doanh nghiệp thành lập mới, doanh nghiệp tái gia nhập thị trường với số vốn đăng ký tăng 4,9% so với cùng kỳ.
Chỉ tiêu quan trọng của kinh tế Bình Dương là thu hút đầu tư nước ngoài hiện đã vượt 43% kế hoạch năm. Tính đến ngày 15/9, vốn đầu tư nước ngoài “rót” vào Bình Dương đạt hơn 2,6 tỷ USD, đạt 145% kế hoạch năm, tăng 74% so với cùng kỳ 2021.
Đầu tư trong nước thu hút được 66.468 tỷ đồng vốn đăng ký kinh doanh (tăng 5% so với cùng kỳ 2021), gồm 4.815 doanh nghiệp đăng ký mới (30.674 tỷ đồng) và 1.155 doanh nghiệp bổ sung tăng vốn (40.581 tỷ đồng).

Theo thống kê của UBND tỉnh Bình Dương, tính đến hết quý III/2022, có 14/34 chỉ tiêu kinh tế, xã hội, môi trường, đô thị đạt và vượt kế hoạch năm; 17 chỉ tiêu duy trì mức tăng ổn định (đã đạt từ 50-85%, dự kiến sẽ hoàn thành kế hoạch vào cuối năm); còn 3/34 chỉ tiêu đạt thấp là tốc độ tăng kim ngạch nhập khẩu; số bác sĩ; số giường bệnh trên 1 vạn dân.
Theo đánh giá của UBND tỉnh Bình Dương, nếu tiếp tục giữ đà tăng trưởng như hiện nay thì dự kiến GRDP năm 2022 của tỉnh sẽ đạt kế hoạch đề ra từ 8-8,3%. UBND tỉnh sẽ đề ra các giải pháp cụ thể trong những tháng còn lại của quý IV/2022, phấn đấu hoàn thành kết quả cao nhất đối với 34 chỉ tiêu.
Ngày 28/9, Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Bình Dương ông Võ Văn Minh lưu ý các sở, ngành quan tâm đến công tác cải thiện môi trường đầu tư.
Ông cho rằng bên cạnh kết quả thu hút đầu tư nước ngoài khả quan, thu hút đầu tư trong nước của tỉnh cũng rất tốt nên cần tiếp tục duy trì. Chủ tịch tỉnh Bình Dương cho rằng cần thành lập các tổ xử lý tháo gỡ nút thắt về giải phóng mặt bằng để phát triển khu, cụm công nghiệp, đầu tư công.
