Theo Tuoitre – Nhiều dự án có giá trị hàng chục đến hàng trăm triệu USD vẫn đang tiếp tục chọn đất sạch trong các khu công nghiệp (KCN) tại Long An để đầu tư.
Ngoài vị trí thuận lợi, hạ tầng cơ sở lẫn giao thông tốt, một trong những ưu điểm để các nhà đầu tư đang ngày càng quan tâm nhiều hơn đến Long An là thủ tục hành chính được hỗ trợ nhanh gọn ở mức tối đa.
Thu hút đầu tư trong giai đoạn khó khăn
Ông Nguyễn Thành Thanh – trưởng Ban quản lý Khu kinh tế tỉnh Long An – cho biết đơn vị này đã cấp giấy chứng nhận đầu tư lần đầu cho doanh nghiệp YOKOREI có vốn đầu tư từ Nhật Bản vào ngày 15-2. Dự án kho lạnh Việt Nam YOKOREI quy mô hơn 12.700m² với tổng diện tích sử dụng hơn 45.000m² đầu tư vào KCN Phú An Thạnh (huyện Bến Lức) có tổng vốn đầu tư đến 52 triệu USD dự kiến sẽ khởi công vào tháng 3.
Ngày 22-2, một trong những doanh nghiệp nước giải khát hàng đầu thế giới cũng đã có lễ ký kết hợp đồng thuê lại đất với diện tích 20ha để đầu tư dự án nhà máy có tổng vốn đầu tư lên đến 320 triệu USD vào KCN Hựu Thạnh ( huyện Đức Hòa).
Bên cạnh đó, Công ty cổ phần đầu tư xây dựng KCN Sài Gòn – Long An cũng đã ký hai hợp đồng cho Công ty cổ phần đầu tư Thái Tuấn thuê lại hơn 362.800m² đất trong KCN Đức Hòa III – Silico (huyện Đức Hòa) để thực hiện dự án Nhà máy sản xuất vải Thái Tuấn với tổng vốn đầu tư 12.800 tỉ đồng.
“Năm 2023 được đánh giá sẽ tiếp tục có nhiều khó khăn về kinh tế do ảnh hưởng chung nhiều yếu tố mang tính toàn cầu. Tuy nhiên việc nhiều nhà đầu tư lớn tiếp tục chọn đất sạch trong các KCN tại Long An để rót tiền vào là những tín hiệu rất đáng mừng trong công tác thu hút đầu tư của tỉnh”, ông Thanh cho hay.
Còn nhiều đất sạch
Long An có 37 KCN với tổng diện tích quy hoạch hơn 12.280ha, trong đó có 32 KCN đã được Thủ tướng Chính phủ cấp chủ trương đầu tư với diện tích 10.173ha.
Hiện tại đã có 24 KCN đủ điều kiện tiếp nhận đầu tư với diện tích hơn 4.270ha, diện tích đất công nghiệp đã cho thuê với tỉ lệ lấp đầy đạt 65%, trong đó có 18 KCN đi vào hoạt động tỉ lệ lấp đầy 86%.
“Đang có hơn 740ha đất sạch trong các KCN sẵn sàng được cho thuê, có thể đáp ứng được đầy đủ các tiêu chí của các nhà đầu tư lớn trên toàn thế giới với ngành nghề đầu tư phù hợp, công nghệ cao, công nghiệp xanh, các doanh nghiệp có chuỗi sản xuất toàn cầu, giá trị gia tăng cao, ít thâm dụng lao động, đất đai…”, ông Thanh thông tin.
Cũng theo ông Thanh, vài năm tới Long An có thêm gần 3.000 ha đất sạch cho nhà đầu tư thuê lại. Một trong những điểm hấp dẫn để nhà đầu tư tiếp cận Long An là ngoài vị trí thuận lợi, hạ tầng cơ sở lẫn giao thông tốt, tỉnh này luôn hỗ trợ doanh nghiệm thực hiện các thủ tục nhanh gọn ở mức tối đa.
“Từ sau dịch COVID-19 đến nay, chúng tôi vẫn tiếp tục duy trì việc hỗ trợ cấp giấy chứng nhận đầu tư ngay trong ngày đối với những dự án đầy đủ hồ sơ, phù hợp với tiêu chí thu hút đầu tư của tỉnh”, ông Thanh khẳng định.
632 doanh nghiệp FDI đầu tư vào Long An
Hiện tại, Long An đứng thứ 3 cả nước về quy mô các KCN với 1.561 doanh nghiệp đang hoạt động trong các KCN. Có 36 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ vào đầu tư với 632 doanh nghiệp FDI. Trong đó có các nhà đầu tư lớn đến từ Hong Kong (Trung Quốc) với 853 triệu USD thuộc 77 dự án, Hàn Quốc có 805 triệu USD với 145 dự án, Nhật Bản có 767 triệu USD với 120 dự án, Singapore có 705 triệu USD với 39 dự án, Đài Loan (Trung Quốc) có 608 triệu USD với 97 dự án, Anh có 378 triệu USD với 15 dự án, Trung Quốc có 358 triệu USD với 193 dự án, Mỹ 112 triệu USD với 17 dự án…
Khoảng 179.700 lao động đang làm việc tại 1.561 doanh nghiệp trong KCN, với gần 2.700 lao động nước ngoài.
