So với số liệu 8 tháng đầu năm 2021, vốn đầu tư điều chỉnh trong 9 tháng giảm do có Dự án Công ty CP Tập đoàn Điện lạnh điện máy Việt Úc nhập khẩu và phân phối các sản phẩm điện gia dụng và đồ dùng gia đình tại Myanmar điều chỉnh giảm vốn đầu tư 3,99 triệu USD.

Theo báo cáo của Cục Đầu tư nước ngoài (Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư), tính đến 20/8, tổng tổng vốn đăng ký cấp mới; điều chỉnh và góp vốn; mua cổ phần, mua phần vốn góp của nhà đầu tư nước ngoài đạt 19,12 tỷ USD; bằng 97,9% so với cùng kỳ năm 2020.
Về lĩnh vực đầu tư, công nghiệp chế biến, chế tạo dẫn đầu với tổng vốn đầu tư đạt gần 9,3 tỷ USD, chiếm 48,4% tổng vốn đầu tư đăng ký.
