Mới đây, ông Nguyễn Thành Thanh – trưởng Ban Quản lý khu kinh tế tỉnh – cho biết đã làm việc với một số nhà đầu tư và dự kiến trong tháng 5 này dự kiến sẽ thu hút thêm 200 triệu USD vào các khu công nghiệp.

So với cùng kỳ năm 2022, số vốn FDI và vốn dự án trong nước được thu hút vào các khu công nghiệp đều tăng lần lượt là 62% và 96%.
Trong đó, có hàng loạt dự án có vốn triệu USD của các nhà đầu tư danh tiếng như Misubishi, Yokorei, Suntory Pepsico, Dệt Thái Tuấn…

Hiện tại, Long An đang có 24 khu công nghiệp đủ điều kiện tiếp nhận đầu tư với diện tích đất tự nhiên gần 6.000ha, trong đó diện tích đất đã cho thuê là gần 4.000ha, tỉ lệ lấp đầy đạt hơn 65%.
Ngoài ra, Long An đang có 700ha đất sạch trong 24 khu công nghiệp sẵn sàng tiếp nhận nhà đầu tư thứ cấp.
Ngoài việc giải quyết những điểm nghẽn về đầu tư, để tăng hấp lực cần nhất vẫn là bản quy hoạch mới, đầy đủ và khoa học. Chính vì vậy địa phương đã thuê đơn vị tư vấn Merkelia của Mỹ lập quy hoạch mới. Theo đó, Long An tập trung một số ngành nghề mũi nhọn, vẫn ưu tiên công nghiệp nhưng phải mang tính hiện đại, kết hợp các khu đô thị đạt tiêu chuẩn quốc tế.
Nhiều điểm sáng thời gian gần gây đã phần nào phản ánh sức hút đầu tư mạnh mẽ của Long An. Trong giai đoạn phát triển mới, địa phương tập trung chuyển đổi theo chiều sâu, nâng cao chất lượng, chuyển dịch cơ cấu đầu tư thông qua đổi mới công nghệ, nâng cao giá trị gia tăng và hướng tới không gian đô thị công nghiệp thân thiện với môi trường./.
