Những con số biết nói đã chứng minh, Bình Dương được phân loại là đơn vị hành chính loại II; TP.Thủ Dầu Một được công nhận đô thị loại I; 2 TX.Thuận An và Dĩ An là đô thị loại III; 2 TX.Bến Cát và Tân Uyên đạt tiêu chí đô thị loại III; đô thị Lai Uyên (Bàu Bàng) và đô thị Tân Thành (Bắc Tân Uyên) đạt tiêu chí đô thị loại V và được nâng cấp lên thành thị trấn. Có thể nói, tốc độ phát triển đô thị và phát triển kinh tế nhanh đã tác động lớn đến thị trường BĐS Bình Dương. Tuy nhiên, cơn sốt ảo của thị trường BĐS, nhất là giá đất nền diễn ra mọi nơi.
