Ngoài cầu Cát Lái nối từ quận 7 qua Đồng Nai, Sở Giao thông Vận tải TP. HCM đề xuất xây thêm cầu từ TP Thủ Đức để tăng kết nối hai tỉnh thành.
Thay đổi vị trí xây cầu
Nội dung vừa được Sở Giao thông Vận tải gửi UBND TP. HCM sau khi làm việc với các đơn vị liên quan. Hai tỉnh thành Đông Nam Bộ hiện kết nối nhau qua ba trục chính là quốc lộ 1, quốc lộ 1K (qua địa phận Bình Dương) và cao tốc TP. HCM – Long Thành – Dầu Giây. Nhiều khu vực khác đang bị cách trở bởi sông Đồng Nai, Lòng Tàu, Đồng Tranh và Thị Vải.
Sở Giao thông Vận tải TP. HCM đề xuất vị trí xây cầu Cát Lái nối từ huyện Nhơn Trạch, Đồng Nai qua quận 7, thay vì địa điểm được tính toán ở TP. Thủ Đức. Điểm đầu cầu nằm trên đường trục bắc nam TP. HCM đi về phía Đông, trùng tuyến Hoàng Quốc Việt, vượt sông Đồng Nai sang xã Phú Hữu, Phú Đông, huyện Nhơn Trạch. Tổng chiều dài tuyến hơn 13,7 km.
Trước đó, dự án cầu được quy hoạch ở vị trí gần phà Cát Lái hiện hữu, sau đó nhà tư vấn đưa ra 5 vị trí xây cầu trên sông Đồng Nai đoạn từ TP. Thủ Đức đến huyện Nhà Bè.
Sở Giao thông Vận tải đánh giá vị trí mới có nhiều ưu điểm vì cầu tạo mạng lưới giao thông mới, hút xe từ trung tâm thành phố, biển Cần Giờ thông qua Metro số 4 và các trục đường lớn như Nguyễn Hữu Thọ, Nguyễn Lương Bằng qua huyện Nhơn Trạch, sân bay Long Thành (Đồng Nai) và ngược lại.
Bổ sung cầu kết nối Thủ Đức và Đồng Nai
Ngoài ra, ngành giao thông TP. HCM cũng đề xuất bổ sung cầu kết nối từ TP. Thủ Đức qua huyện Long Thành, Đồng Nai, theo hai phương án. Phương án đầu tiên, hướng tuyến cầu bắt đầu từ Vành đai 3 tại nút giao Gò Công (phường Long Thạnh Mỹ, TP Thủ Đức), sau đó vượt sông Tắc đến cù lao Long Phước, nối đường ĐT 777B ở xã Tam An. Theo cách này, chiều dài tuyến ở TP HCM khoảng 5,4 km.
Phương án thứ hai, hướng tuyến của cầu bắt đầu từ nút giao D1 và nhánh nối xa lộ Hà Nội (phường Long Thạnh Mỹ, TP Thủ Đức), sau đó đi về hướng đông, vượt sông Tắc, nối vào đường ĐT 777B, xã Tam An. Chiều dài tuyến qua địa bàn TP HCM khoảng 6 km.
Hai phương án nói trên được TP HCM nghiên cứu sau khi tỉnh Đồng Nai đề nghị xây cầu nằm trong phạm vi đoạn sông dài 15 km, từ cầu Đồng Nai trên quốc lộ 1 đến cao tốc TP HCM – Long Thành – Dầu Giây.
Theo lãnh đạo Sở Giao thông Vận tải, việc bổ sung quy hoạch hai vị trí cầu ở địa bàn thành phố cần điều chỉnh nhiều quy hoạch ở TP Thủ Đức và quận 7, huyện Nhà Bè. Do vậy, các sở ngành, địa phương liên quan cần rà soát để góp ý về các vị trí trước khi báo cáo UBND TP HCM.
Ngoài cầu Cát Lái nằm trong quy hoạch nhưng chưa được xây dựng, hai địa phương còn có hai cây cầu khác đang triển khai, gồm: cầu Phước Khánh trên cao tốc Bến Lức – Long Thành và Nhơn Trạch trên Vành đai 3.
