Mới đây, 4 dự án giao thông sắp tới gồm đường bộ, cao tốc có tổng vốn đầu tư hơn 200.000 tỷ đồng đã được Chính phủ chấp thuận trình Quốc hội xin chủ trương đầu tư. Trong đó, dự án đường Vành đai 3 sẽ giúp vùng Đông Nam Bộ phát triển vượt bậc.
Cao tốc Châu Đốc – Cần Thơ – Sóc Trăng tăng cường kết nối các tỉnh miền Tây
Cao tốc Châu Đốc – Cần Thơ – Sóc Trăng (Trần Đề) có chiều dài 188,2km; Đường đi qua 4 tỉnh, thành phố gồm An Giang, Cần Thơ, Hậu Giang và Sóc Trăng. Trong hơn 188 km toàn tuyến:
– Đoạn qua An Giang dài gần 57 km;
– Cần Thơ gần 38 km;
– Hậu Giang khoảng 37 km;
– Hơn 56 km còn lại đi qua tỉnh Sóc Trăng.
Theo Báo cáo nghiên cứu tiền khả thi, dự án sẽ được xây dựng theo quy mô 6 làn xe hoàn chỉnh; chiều rộng nền đường 32,25 m. Tuy nhiên, trong giai đoạn 1, dự án sẽ xây dựng theo quy mô cao tốc 4 làn xe hạn chế; chiều rộng nền đường 17 m; vận tốc thiết kế 80 km/h.
Tổng mức đầu tư dự án giai đoạn 1 khoảng 44.306 tỷ đồng. Trong đó chi phí bồi thường, tái định cư là 8.487 tỷ đồng; chi phí xây dựng là 27.534 tỷ đồng…
Để đảm bảo tiến độ triển khai thực hiện dự án, Ban Quản lý dự án Mỹ Thuận đã chỉ đạo Tư vấn nghiên cứu phân chia thành 7 dự án thành phần. Nếu được cấp có thẩm quyền phê duyệt, Dự án dự kiến khởi công năm 2023 và hoàn thành năm 2025.
Tăng thêm km cao tốc cho Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long
Mặc dù tiềm năng kinh tế của vùng Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long được đánh giá cao, tuy nhiên hệ thống hạ tầng giao thông khu vực này lại chưa thực sự phát triển khi so với các khu vực khác của cả nước. Tỷ lệ số km đường cao tốc của vùng rất thấp. Điều này khiến vùng trở thành điểm nghẽn trong sự phát triển của cả khu vực.

Tuyến cao tốc Biên Hòa – Vũng Tàu có chiều dài khoảng 53,7km, nối tuyến tránh quốc lộ 1 qua TP Biên Hòa với điểm giao quốc lộ 56 tại TP. Bà Rịa. Tổng mức đầu tự án là 19.616 tỷ đồng, dự kiến hoàn thành vào năm 2026.
Theo Quy hoạch mạng lưới đường bộ Việt Nam thời kỳ 2021 – 2030, tầm nhìn đến năm 2050, cao tốc Biên Hòa – Vũng Tàu kết nối trực tiếp với các cụm cảng Cái Mép – Thị Vải, sân bay Long Thành và vùng kinh tế trọng điểm phía Nam nói chung. Đây cũng được coi là trục giao thông quan trọng bậc nhất trong kết nối vùng Đông Nam Bộ.
Tuyến Quốc lộ 51 nối TP. HCM – Đồng Nai – Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu hiện đã quá tải, thường xuyên ùn tắc nghiêm trọng. Cao tốc Biên Hòa – Vũng Tàu được kỳ vọng sẽ giảm tải cho Quốc lộ 51; tăng tính kết nối của Sân bay quốc tế Long Thành.
Dự án còn chạy qua nhiều khu công nghiệp (KCN) lớn khác của Đồng Nai như KCN Nhơn Trạch, KCN Long Thành, KCN Long Đức, KCN An Phước,… và đặc biệt là các cụm cảng Cái Mép – Thị Vải thuộc tỉnh Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu.

Tháo gỡ khó khăn giao thông do địa hình
Do đặc điểm địa hình nên hệ thống giao thông kết nối giữa Tây Nguyên và Nam Trung Bộ khó phát triển loại hình giao thông đường thủy; hạn chế trong phát triển đường sắt và hàng không; tiềm năng lớn nhất là giao thông đường bộ.
